Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how MyDossier — operated by Olivitis UAB, registered in Lithuania — uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit mydossier.lt. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you are logged in — so you do not have to re-enter it on every page.

We also use browser localStorage, a similar technology that stores data locally on your device without an expiry date. It works the same way as a cookie for privacy purposes and is covered by this policy.

MyDossier uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels of any kind.

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, consent is only required for cookies and storage that are not strictly necessary — for example, analytics or advertising cookies. Every entry in the table above is strictly necessary either to provide the service you requested (authentication) or to remember preferences you explicitly set (theme, settings). We therefore do not display a cookie consent banner.

We may in the future add privacy-friendly analytics (such as aggregated, anonymised page-view counts) to help us understand how the service is used and where to improve it. If we do:

• We will update this policy before the change takes effect
• We will display a cookie consent banner giving you a clear opt-in choice
• We will not enable any analytics tool until consent has been given
• We will never use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking

MyDossier does not load any third-party scripts, iframes, or widgets that set their own cookies. The only third-party service that touches your browser is our authentication provider, which sets the session cookie described in Section 2.

Web beacons (also called tracking pixels or clear gifs) are tiny graphics files embedded in web pages or emails that allow a sender to recognise visitors, track email opens, or measure how content is interacted with.

MyDossier does not use web beacons, tracking pixels, clear gifs, or any similar tracking technology on its website or in any of its emails. We do not track email opens, link clicks, or anything beyond what is strictly necessary for the email to be delivered.

If this ever changes — for example, if we add analytics in the future — we will update this policy first and seek your explicit consent before enabling any such technology.

MyDossier does not serve targeted advertising of any kind, on our website or anywhere else. Specifically:

• We do not load advertising-network code such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or any other ad-tech
• We do not share your behaviour, interests, or activity with ad networks
• We do not participate in retargeting or cross-site profiling
• We do not build advertising profiles about you

We commit to not introducing third-party advertising in the future without first updating this policy and obtaining your explicit opt-in consent.

You can control cookies and localStorage through your browser settings:

• Delete cookies:In your browser’s settings under “Privacy” or “History”, clear cookies for mydossier.lt. This will log you out.
• Delete localStorage:Open DevTools (F12) → Application → Local Storage → right-click the site entry and choose “Clear”. This resets your theme and settings preferences.
• Block cookies entirely: You can configure your browser to block all cookies, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

We will post any updates to this page and, for material changes, notify you by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
